Brighton
Thirty minutes north of Ann Arbor is Brighton, a vibrant downtown community where neighbors and visitors still wave to one another. Brighton is an exciting dining and nightlife destination with over 25 unique restaurants and bars. My favorite place for a great steak is Stillwater Grill. Of course, if sushi is more your thing, Sushi Zen is wildly popular. Try them all and choose your own favorites.
For shopping, Brighton has trendy boutiques, offering unique gifts, popular jewelry & accessories, and much more. Brighton is a contemporary strolling community with exclusive outdoor art exhibits, beautiful millpond, and a plethora of walking paths. The friendly downtown also has a community playground, candy and treat shops, and family activities.
Woodland Lake and nearby Lake Chemung offer fair weather outdoor activities, while Mt. Brighton challenges the winter sports enthusiast.
